I accidently put about one half gallon gasoline into the tank of my truck which runs on diesel. I did not do anything about it except fill the tank full of diesel at once. But I wonder what should be done if I had not caught my error so soon. How much gasoline in a tank of diesel would be dangerous to start the engine?

I had gasoline spill onto my clothes while filling my cars’ gas tank. I’ve tried hand washing & machine washing with regular detergent, and I air’d out the clothes out on a line for 24 hours. It still stinks so badly they make me dizzy from the fumes. I don’t want to just throw out my clothes. Please help!

Thousands of gallons of gasoline spill in Niles

A gas can tipped over in my trunk and about one-half gallon of gasoline spilled on the trunk carpet. I’ve had the car detailed in order to get rid of the odor but the odor remains. A closup smell indicates the smell is in the leather upholstery in the back seat.
This past weekend I helped my girlfriend move into her new apartment. She has these two couches that were sitting in her parents garage for the past year and they have a faint smell of gasoline. My guess is that they smell like that because they’ve been sitting in a garage for the past year and there are no visible stains (except for a foot size dark stain on one of the couches). Does anybody know what would work to get rid of the smell? Its kind of gross.

If you knew you could save all of your gasoline receipts during the previous year and present a valid drivers license to the federal government at tax time. Wouldn”t it be nice to claim your gas consumption on your federal taxes and get decent refund for your money that you paid out in gas.
If you answered yes. Then call, write or e-mail your federal elected officials or go directly to their office and tell them you want a gasoline tax credit now. Oil companies are making big bucks. Why can’t we make our bucks too?
